The Lightfoot & Sons Myrtle Point Shiraz is a true example of the cool-climate Gippsland Lakes District Shiraz. Medium-to-full bodied, with aromas of blueberries, violets and spice. An elegant and textural wine with dark plum and blackberry fruit character on the palate, classic cool-climate spice and fine tannins giving the wine length and finesse.

“Whole-heartedly spicy, peppery and cool, though ripeness is certainly not an issue. It’s savoury and autumnal. Cherry and spice galore, some sweetness, a general softness and a quick peck of smoky oak. So fresh there’s almost a spritz to it. Very good drinking/buying if you enjoy savoury reds.”
