Bullant Shiraz is a ripe, full bodied wine which has benefited from 15 months oak maturation. It shows an aroma reminiscent of plums and chocolate with a touch of earthy complexity.
“91 points, Special Value”
“Very good colour; estate-grown shiraz that has managed to lasso some of McLaren Vale’s dark chocolate, and then woven it through the supple red and black fruits, fine-grained tannins the icing on the cake. Great value.”
James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion ’15
“Very smooth…”
“Very smooth, sweet, structured and balanced that’s loaded with dark berry and plum elements.”
Winestate Magazine July/Aug ’14
Langhorne Creek is renowned for its full bodied red wines and well balanced, fruit driven Chardonnay. Greg Follett of Lake Breeze Wines created Bullant, a great range of approachable, drink-now wines, using fruit from the Follett family vineyard.
The playful label was inspired by the bullants which are known to harass vineyard workers. Asisthe case with the Lake Breeze wines, the Bullant range over-delivers, possessing vibrant fruit flavours with palate richness and offer great value.
