The Mr Mick Pinot Grigio has a spritely acidity, green pear aromas and flavours and a crisp texture, modelled in the classic Italian style with just a touch of fruit sweetness.
Top tipples under $20 Tim Adams makes exemplary Clare Valley wines under his own label and sources fruit more widely for his budget-priced Mr Mick range. From the Limestone Coast, this one has wonderful intensity, a sharp edginess that gives marvellous, almost chalky, definition, and zip and zing to finish.” Peter Forrestal, Money Magazine, Jan ’16
91 points – A well-balanced juxtaposition between the crunchy pear and guava notes of Grigio and the definition of lemon zest and grapefruit. It’s fresh, lively and nicely balanced, with the softly oily texture of Grigio falling neatly behind an energetic acid line.”

The climate and soils of the Limestone Coast wine region enable us to produce Pinot Grigio very similar to the grape’s origin in Italy. Grapes were harvested at their peak flavour maturity from a single vineyard in the south Australia Limestone Coast wine region.
The juice was separated from skins, carefully transported home to Clare, cold settled and fermented for 14 days. A steady cool ferment ensures a focused palate with maximum Grigio fruit expression.
It is great wine just to enjoy on its own, or as an apertif or will pair well with a variety of food, particularly with spicy dishes or seafood!
