Lake breeze 35 year old White Frontignac grapes were hand harvested to create this deliciously fruity and refreshing sparkling wine. Originally from the North West of Italy, the Moscato style is thought to be the world’s original sweet sparkling wine.
It shows an uplifting grapey bouquet with elements of orange blossom and musk. The palate is light and has a delicate balance of grapey sweetness and natural acidity. The ‘frizzante’ creates a lively freshness and a clean finish to this delightful wine. It is great as an aperitif, with light desserts or even with breakfast.
Lake Breeze is one of Australia’s most awarded boutique wineries, including being named Australia’s Champion Small Winery. The Follett family have been grape growers in Langhorne Creek for 120 years and winemakers for 20 years and have rapidly built an enviable reputation for consistently producing outstanding wines. Lake Breeze selects only the best 20% of fruit from the older vines on the property, to create wines with amazing depth of flavour.
