Zonte’s Footstep Bolle Felici Prosecco NV is a deliciously fresh, zingy wine made from the traditional Glera grape, which is grown in scant amounts in South Australia’s gorgeous Fleurieu Peninsula. Inspired by the writings of Aureliano Acanti, a priest/pet and compere to Vivaldi, who wrote the following excerpt in his 1754 poem Il Roccolo:
“… and now I would like to wet my mouth with that Prosecco with its apple bouquet.”
This wine is cheerful, effervescent in style with delicate aromas of crunchy green apples and pretty pears. A chic drink with a light fizz, it is truly happiness in a bottle… a nice synergy given Bolle Felici translates from its native Italian to “happy bubbles”.
It’s the sun, it’s your friends, it’s your happy place… and it loves to be drunk well-chilled with food. So bring it to life with a platter of sweet melon wraped in wafer-thin proscuitto.
