Harvested early in the season to maintain fresh, natural acidity and flavour. The Oscar’s Folly Pinot Noir is destemmed and lightly crushed before fermenting for 8 days on skins. Once primary fermentation is completed, the wine is transferred
to a mixture of French oak barriques and puncheons, of varying ages between 2-4 years. The wine is matured for 10 months before bottling. The colour is bright with a light red hue and a fragrant strawberry and red berry aroma. The palate is fresh, textural and lively, loaded with flavour and vigor. Sweetness to start finishes with pleasant crunchy bitterness.
