Concrete & Clay Shiraz is rich with lovely black fruits and a textured mid palate. Co-fermented this wine using 1% Viognier skins which helps add perfume and as well as texture. Will age very well over the medium term.
Hand harvested from our estate vineyard in the coastal suburb of Bangholme. Multiple ferments, some destemmed, some with 100% whole clusters were employed. A portion saw 4 weeks extended maceration and another saw 2% viognier skins included. Maturation was a combination of 1000 litre French oak vats, older barriques and stainless steel.
