Longview Epitome Late Harvest Riesling is the world’s most important and influential Wine Shows — Decanter World Wine Awards and International Wine Challenge have each awarded Longview’s 2013 ‘Epitome’ Late Harvest Riesling two trophies!
IWC judges praised the wine as: “Supremely balanced, sweet white wine. Bright Riesling fruit and acidity that is fresh without being piercing. Just gorgeous.”
Beautifully expressive aromas of orange blossom, marmalade, with a ripe citrus undertone and just a hint of kerosene and mushroom. The palate bursts with ginger, treacle and a lovely, complex floral character, with the sweetness lifted by a rich vein of zippy acidity. Superb.
Last year the same wine won the trophy for Best Sweet Wine of Show at theRoyal Adelaide Wine Show, now bringing the 2013‘s award tally to: 5 Trophies, 2 Top Gold Medals, 5 Gold Medals, 7 Silver Medals, 4 Bronze Medals.
