Marchand and Burch Mount Barrow Pinot Noir is a delicious bright cherry red fruits are supported by warm earth complexity and a silky finely layered tannin structure.
A beautifully fine and expressive wine with a core of pristine red-fruit. The aromatics are utterly charming, and the palate is focused and pure. There is some lovely savouriness from oak, which is subtle and appropriate. But most importantly, the wine has been made with restraint and has room to grow and evolve with time in the bottle. It is a detailed, refined, elegant and flavoursome wine. Highly recommended. (Screwcap)
