Bremerton Tamblyn is a blend of four premium red varieties all grown in Langhorne Creek that have been blended to create a generous well balanced wine showing lifted violet and red cherry aromas with mouth filling fruit and soft tannins.
“The expert palates at Bremerton use their good taste to determine what goes into Tamlbyn…” Matthew Jukes & Tyson Stelzer Taste, Food & Wine
“…the region offers great bang for your buck… this big, bold and juicy red – quintessentially Australian…” Winsor Dobbin – Winsor’s Choice
“Wonderfully perfumed opening beings the sudeuciton which is complete with a deliciously soft and richly flavoured palate.” Ray Jorden The West Australian
The ‘Tamblyn’ blend utilises the characteristics of the different varietals to give a wine that is full flavoured and balanced with a silky finish. Cabernet Sauvignon provides the complementary tannin structure, Shiraz and Merlot give berry roundness and Malbec adds a perfumed lift and intense colour. The components for Tamblyn were individually fermented in open top fermenters which allowed for optimal extraction of colour and flavour. The wine was matured in a combination of new and old French and American barrels for 18 months before blending and bottling.
Soft enough to drink now or reward with cellaring for up to 5 years.
A terrific food wine, enjoy with meat, pasta, chicken, pizza, cheese or at anytime
