Alan McCorkindale Pinot Noir is a beautiful deep red colour, bursting with luscious aromas of black cherry, blackberry, liquorice and oak. A focused palate of rich soft tannins works well with the wine’s ‘forest floor’ complexity.
Alan McCorkindale Wines is a small family business based in the Waipara Valley, Canterbury. Their focus is on creating quality boutique wines with district style and flair using traditional French techniques.
Our grapes are grown in the beautiful, natural surrounds of the Waipara Valley. Our vineyards are pruned and picked by hand to ensure that every drop is pure quality, New Zealand wine.
Alan is a very much a Burgundian style winemaker and this Marlborough Pinot Noir is a great example of his entry level Pinot in the Marlborough Terroir.
